is situated within a quiet new development only a few hundred metres
from the sea. The property offers comfortable two bedroom ground
floor accommodation. The well equipped kitchen leads to a private
covered area to the rear. The bathroom has a four piece suite with
shower over bath. The living / dining room offers spacious accommodation
with air conditioning / heating. The private garden provides off-road
parking and with the roomy covered porch area, offering ample room
for outdoor dining and entertaining, where you can relax and enjoy
a glass or two of wine while watching the sun set.

Altos de la Bahia area
Altos de la Bahia(Hills of the Bay) is located to the North of
Torrevieja within easy walking distance to the blue flag beaches
of La Mata. The development is free of high rise buildings and offers
large garden park areas making walking a pleasure. There is an excellent
supermarket less than a few hundred metres away and a number of
bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The coast road
offers easy bus links into Torrevieja. Less than 5 minutes away
by car is the excellent Aquapolis water park, which is well worth
a visit and less than 10 minutes drive away there is an excellent
go-cart track, with carts for all ages and abilities.
Torrevieja
Torrevieja and the Costa Blanca are rated by the World Health Organisation
as having the healthiest of climates. There are many excellent Blue
Flag beaches locally, and also some rocky coves popular with anglers.
The local salt lakes have walks and cycle trails. The resort of
La Mata, with its long sandy beach, board-walk, nature reserves
and parkland is within a few minutes' drive. Several major golf
courses are to be found within the region as well as interesting
places to visit such as the vibrant city of Alicante, and Elche,
home to an immense palm forest and a World Heritage Site. Almost
every day, one of the local villages hosts a street market.
Torrevieja is a real Spanish town as well as a holiday destination.
In addition to several really good beaches, it has a harbour with
a long harbour wall, ideal for walks or bike rides. It also boasts
an attractive yacht marina, lined with restaurants and bars. The
marble promenade has a busy market along most of it’s length,
where artists and entertainers can be seen late into the evenings,
behind which is the fair ground which is open all through the summer.
There are plenty of shops of all kinds and a huge Friday street
market. Torrevieja's processions at Carnival, Easter and Christmastime
are renowned. There is also an early summer music festival dedicated
to the Habanera, a song style which forms a link between the town
of Torrevieja and the island of Cuba.

Further details
The communal swimming pool and recreational area of this new development
are currently still under construction but will be available by
May 2006. Those of the neighbouring development, just across the
road, are available for your use also.
You can reach shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants and frequent
inexpensive local buses, all within a few minutes' walk
